Solving a major material supply issue – 
      PA66

Guest speaker: Matériautech Allize-Plasturgie

Regardless of how many precautions you put in place to secure the supply chain for your materials, there will always be disruptions beyond your control. For example, a worldwide shortage of Adiponitrile (ADN) is currently impacting production of PA66 resins. This is not a one off – in recent years there have been similar issues impacting the supply of PEI and PA12, for example.

In this web seminar, we’ll hear an industrial case study from Matériautech, a specialist research center on polymers, on how they approached the shortage of PA66. You'll see how these problems can be quickly and easily solved by having access to complete and comparable data on materials – and the tools to help you interrogate it. About the presenters

   
Sebastien Moussard Sebastien Moussard is a material engineer at Matériautech Allize-Plasturgie, a specialist research center on polymers in the heart of the French polymer corridor. Material engineer from the Ecole d’ingénieur de Dijon, Sebastien has several years experience of bringing expert advice to the network of members of the Matériautech Allize-Plasturgie. Sebastien is also actively involved in developing the network of suppliers who are partners of the Materiautech and is involved in several research projects.
   
Dr. Charlie Bream Dr. Charlie Bream is the Senior Product Manager for CES Selector at Granta Design. After completing his PhD on recycling of thermoset composites at Brunel University, he spent 15 years in industry working on the development of lightweight materials and structures for British Aerospace (Space Systems), Pera International, and NXT before joining Granta in 2007.
