Material intelligence for faster,
better product development

Why it’s essential to digitalize materials information
and processes

Materials information is at the heart of critical decisions and processes for engineering enterprises. These organizations must digitalize and apply this information to support product innovation, reduce time-to-market and cost, and avoid risk. In this webinar, a case study demonstration will show how the GRANTA MI software provides a consistent, controlled source for company materials information, and facilitates key tasks relating to materials throughout product development. The case study will also showcase some of the features of the new GRANTA MI Version 11.

Screening materialsWhat you will learn

  • Understand the importance of digitalizing company materials information and processes, and see how this can be achieved
  • Follow a practical case study: from deriving material data for use in design, through assigning materials in CAD, to how the company could cope with a subsequent change request
  • See new capabilities in the upcoming GRANTA MI Version 11, including improved apps for test data analysis; slick integration with CAD, PLM and CAE tools; and searching large databases in an intuitive app
  • Learn how digitalization is accelerating, making corporate material intelligence more accessible across business processes and to wider audiences of engineers and designers.

Who should take part?

  • Senior management of: materials engineering, engineering, product development, simulation, Additive Manufacturing, composite qualification & process improvement.  See how digitalizing materials information and processes could help your business, and where to start.
  • Materials engineers, design teams, simulation analysts. See practical tools for managing and using materials information.
  • Current GRANTA MI customers. See what’s new and learn from a practical case study.
