The likely cause of this is a recent update to McAfee VirusScan, which is affecting the performance of CES Selector by repeatedly scanning the CES Selector cache files.
To fix this, manually exclude the CES Selector directory (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\CES Selector XXXX) from the McAfee scan. Note that McAfee may be managed by your IT department.
