Incorporating CES EduPack in Capstone Design Courses – Experiences from the Rock Face

with Elisabeth Kahlmeyer and Dr John Nychka

Join this web seminar on Thursday, May 28 to find out how the CES EduPack software package is particularly suited to Capstone Design Projects, as it helps to bring together thinking on materials, manufacturing, design and shape.

CES EduPack is used at many Universities through all years of study, from Introduction to Materials courses, through Materials Selection and Eco Design courses on to final year Design Projects.

Leading educationalist John Nychka of the University of Alberta, Canada, uses CES EduPack with his students in a Capstone Design course and he has been assessing how the software helps to support learning objectives.

John will give examples of completed design projects, discuss the CES EduPack experience from the learner and instructor perspectives, and offer thoughts about the usefulness of CES EduPack.

He will be available for questions at the end of the session.
