Lecture Unit 8: Objectives in conflict

Strategies on how to deal with conflicting objectives are shown. The methods discussed include ranking materials using performance indices, drawing trade off curves, and creating penalty functions to systematically select materials for a specific application based on two competing objectives and the Pareto front.
