Case Study: Sustainable Development Projects - 4 Case Studies for Workshops

This set of four case studies focus on different aspects of sustainable development. These were developed to be used in interdisciplinary groups in class. The topics include: hand dryers, low-carbon conrete, plastic vs. paper books, and critical material usage in wind farms. All use the 5-Step method from Ashby et al., 2015 to help guide students in exploring these topics in a systematic way
