Granta is the Cambridge, UK-based company that provides software and related services to the Material Data Management Consortium (MDMC) and Materials Strategy Forum - collaborative projects with members such as Boeing, Emerson Electric, Honeywell, GE, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon. Granta also supports companies such as Airbus, EADS Astrium and Renault F1.

These companies use Granta software to capture and manage materials property data in the test lab or from reference sources, to control and analyze that data, and to deploy the resulting information to improve business performance. Examples include integrating materials data into PLM processes in order to assist design engineers, and defining and implementing optimized materials strategies.
