Empowering Product Engineering with consistent, accurate materials definitions in CAD and PLM

Overview

Join this webinar on Thursday, October 26, as we explore how to ensure consistent, accurate materials definitions across CAD and PLM. Achieving this goal avoids risk in the design process, enables effective change control, and saves time. We’ll also demonstrate the latest updates to technology for managing and accessing materials information in the context of CAD and PLM.

Accessing materials data in CADWhat you will learn

  • Understand why it is important to establish an approved source of company materials data, and how to achieve this
  • Find out how to ensure consistent, accurate materials assignment in CAD tools such as NX, Creo, and CATIA
  • Learn about synchronizing materials definitions between CAD and PLM, for example, via the IMM module of Teamcenter, or with Windchill
  • See the latest technology enhancements. MI:Materials Gateway version 5 for faster, more configurable access to materials data in CAD and PLM. MI:Enterprise Connect version 2 optimizes PLM integration

Who should take part?

  • PLM Managers, CAD Managers, and Engineering Managers needing to ensure consistency and efficiency in product design
  • Designers who need access to the right materials data
  • Materials engineers who need to ensure use of approved, accurate data across their organizations
