Materials data at your fingertips

Join us on Thursday, June 2 to discover the range of datasets and tools available in CES Selector and how you can apply them to compare different materials, identify candidates for specific engineering applications and justify your recommendations.

Register for this no-cost webinar to:

  • Find out how to get ready access to a comprehensive set of material datasets, covering all classes of engineering materials
  • Discover how to quickly find and compare different materials
  • Learn how to highlight and understand the similarities and differences of these materials in performance
  • Learn how to build confidence in your material recommendations and communicate their benefits to project sponsors and stakeholders.

Further information

Visualizing the full range of bulk engineering
materials in property spaceWhen choosing materials, one of the biggest challenges is finding relevant data to support your investigation. Although there is no shortage of data, with it being readily available on the internet (both from material suppliers and data providers), the challenge is that this data is not standardized, with different properties being quoted by different sources, and different standards and techniques being used to characterise materials. This makes it difficult to compare materials and make informed decisions on which you should be using.

This webinar will look at the range of datasets available in CES Selector and show how you can apply the data and tools to compare different materials, identify candidates, justify your recommendations to others, and validate what material suppliers are telling you.

Who should join the web seminar?

This session will be of particular interest to:

  • Materials specialists
  • Project engineers, product engineers, development engineers and designers.
