Why watch the presentation?

See how this benefits engineers, managers, and costing, environmental, or other specialists when they make design decisions, review individual products, or report across product families:

  • Access and use accurate, up-to-date materials data in computer-aided design (CAD), and directly within product lifecycle management (PLM).
  • Assess the extent of materials risks—act on the results of “where used?” investigations across multiple product models.
  • Embed the latest tools (e.g., to search materials data, select materials, report on restricted substance risk, or enable eco-design) in your design, engineering, and PLM software.
  • Ensure consistency and control in the use of materials information by deploying approved corporate materials information to engineers and designers across your organization, within their routine workflows.

What will you see?

Join us for a demonstration of these capabilities, and to hear about the latest GRANTA MI:Materials Gateway integrations for PLM, featuring:

  • Teamcenter from Siemens PLM
  • New! Windchill from PTC

You will also see the MI:Materials Gateways for the associated NX and Creo CAD systems, and find out about support for other systems including Autodesk Inventor, CATIA, and CAE environments such as Abaqus/CAE and ANSYS Workbench.

CAE integrations will be covered in detail in a subsequent web seminar.
