Functional Data Helper for CES4.5

The 'CES Functional Data Helper' is an Excel Add-In provided to allow CES users to take a table of data stored in an Excel 2000 worksheet and convert it to the format required by CES4.5 for Series functional data.

Installation

CES4.5 Constructor and Microsoft Excel 2000 (or higher) must be installed before the CES Functional Data Helper can be installed.

Run the downloaded 'CESFunctionalDataHelper.exe' file. The components are installed to the CES Selector folder.
After opening Excel, the 'CES FunctionalDataHelper' toolbar will appear, with a 'Format Data for CES 4.5' button.

The components installed are: an Excel Add-In (CESfunctionaldatahelper.xla), a help file (fdh.chm) and an instructions document (CES Functional Data Helper v4.5 Instructions.pdf).

Support for problems relating to the usage or functionality of this add-in can be obtained through the normal Granta Design Support system.

Grid and Maths functional data can be added to the database directly using CES Constructor. See the CES4.5 User's Manual Supplement or the CES online help system for more information on the types of functional data and functional data entry procedures.
