Teaching Resource Site

You can browse freely through our list of teaching materials. Free access is provided to the Getting Started Guide and to sample selection charts. To download other resources, you need to be an academic with an annual license of CES EduPack or a perpetual license with an annual maintenance contract. If you have either of these and want to obtain your user name and password, or if you have difficulties in downloading, please contact us.

CES EduPack resource books & lectures

The standard CES EduPack resources are organised into six books, which can be downloaded below. Note, book 4 allows you to download individual lectures as Powerpoint slidesets for use in your teaching.

	Book 1: Getting Started with CES EduPack GETTING STARTED is an introduction to the facilities offered by CES EduPack. English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Chinese versions are available.
	Book 2: Material and Process Selection Charts 27 standard charts mapping property space for each materials class. 4 sample charts are available for free download.
	Book 3: Useful Approximate Solutions for Standard Problems
	Book 4: 12 PowerPoint lectures Unit 1. The materials and processes universe Unit 2. Materials charts Unit 3. Translation, screening, documentation Unit 4. Ranking: refining the choice Unit 5.
