Follow the links and instructions below to download and implement these updates and bug fixes. It is not recommended that you save these files directly into your CES directory. Before replacing any files it is recommended that you make a backup copy of the original.

CES EduPack 2008

For the vast majority of users, CES EduPack 2008 runs fine. However, we have had a few reports of conflicts with Symantec Endpoint Protection. The problem manifests itself as follows:
- Vista - when CES EduPack is started, a dialogue box appears saying 'CES Selector has stopped working'. When this dialog is closed, Vista informs the user that Data Execution Prevention has closed CES Selector
- Windows XP - when CES EduPack is started, and hour glass appears momentarily, but nothing happens and CES EduPack fails to start
Both of these issues are resolved by updating Symantec Endpoint Protection to the latest Maintenance Release - MR3 or above, available from Symantec's website.

Updated network installation
- Click here to download an up-to-date netsetup.exe file (2.83Mb)
- Replace your existing netsetup.exe in the CES installation directory (usually C:\Program Files\CES Selector\) with the downloaded file
- Use this updated file to perform installations on client machines.
