The Symposium will again be based around presentations by materials educators at leading universities. Talks will be relevant to topics including materials science, manufacturing and processes, mechanical engineering, industrial design, aerospace and nuclear engineering, bio engineering, plastics, and sustainable engineering. Speakers will describe their approaches to materials teaching, and their use of teaching resources including, but not limited to, CES EduPack. Discussion sessions, networking opportunities, a poster session, and a social program will make the event interactive, with plenty of opportunities to meet people and exchange ideas.
On the two days preceding the Symposium, you can attend optional CES EduPack Short Courses. Hosted by Professor Mike Ashby, these demonstrate the use of CES EduPack, the leading teaching resource for materials and processes education, and provide numerous teaching ideas.
