Management of corporate materials data

Our GRANTA MI system allows engineering enterprises to capture all of their materials data in a single, controlled, secure materials information resource. Integrated tools allow materials experts to analyze this data and publish approved information for use in design. An intuitive web-browser interface makes it easy for the design and simulation communities to access this data, assured that it is up-to-date, accurate, and approved for use. Materials data can be exported in the right formats for software like Abaqus/CAE, ANSYS, Nastran, Patran, and Pro/ENGINEER. Data export can be adapted easily to formats required by in-house tools.

Integration with CAD, CAE and other software

Granta can make it even easier for users of engineering software to get materials reference data or approved corporate materials information. The MI:Materials Gateway lets users access and use data in a GRANTA MI database from directly within their CAD, CAE, PLM or other software. MI:Materials Gateway implementation are available for widely-used applications such as Abaqus/CAE and Pro/ENGINEER. The MI:Application Programming Interface (MI:API) enables integration of any software with GRANTA MI by in-house IT teams, or using Granta services
