Granta provides a range of services to help you get more from your materials information and from your use of Granta products.

Customer support

Any user of a Granta product covered by a current maintenance agreement can access online and hotline telephone support. See the user area for contact information...

Training

Granta provides training to help you with any aspect of the implementation or use of Granta software. Training can be conducted via the Web or in person. Regular online and in-person training is also a benefit of Consortium membership.

Data services

Granta has a unique expertise in materials data and information. We can apply that expertise to help you with tasks such as:

• Auditing your materials data and advising on its organization
  
  
• Researching and compiling custom datasets, or enriching your existing data
  
  
• Consolidating test and legacy data into a GRANTA MI database

Implementation services

GRANTA MI is developed using standard information technologies and designed to be practical and straightforward to implement. But there may be cases where Granta services can help you to get up and running faster or with less effort on your part - for example, if you're installing across a large organization, or seeking to consolidate complex data sets into a new GRANTA MI database. Granta is here to help you achieve maximum productivity as quickly as possible with your GRANTA MI system.

Configuration services

Once a GRANTA MI system is in place, you may wish to configure it to your environment. For example, you may want to create customized homepages that make it easier for users in your organization to find the information that they need. Or you might want to enable one of your engineering software applications to extract data directly from a GRANTA MI database. GRANTA MI is a flexible and open system that can usually be configured for your environment by in-house staff. However, if in-house staff are focused on other priorities or you need to speed up a project, you can use Granta services to do your configuration quickly and effectively.

Consultancy services

Granta's combination of materials and information technology expertise is available to help you solve problems relating to materials information. You can engage our experts on a consultancy basis. Example projects have included applying Granta's materials selection technology to develop lists of preferred materials for a company, developing specialist analysis tools to derive materials properties from test data, and creating on-line information resources for materials publishers.
