MDMC Workshops - 2006
The Material Data Management Consortium (MDMC) held a series of free
demonstrations and discussion workshops for materials science and engineering
managers in commercial and government organizations during 2006. These workshops explained
and discussed the critical importance of materials information management
in product and process design, aiming to develop awareness and use of this
valuable emerging software technology. Leading members presented their experience of using materials information technology. Reports from each workshop are provided below.
