GRANTA MI:Materials Gateway for Restricted Substances

GRANTA MI:Materials Gateway enables integration between the GRANTA MI: Restricted Substances solution and with third-party software, including CAD, PLM, and ERP.

Restricted substances are an enterprise-wide issue. Information and decisions need to flow to and from functions including engineering, materials, manufacturing, EH&S departments, and quality assurance. For this reason, GRANTA MI:Restricted Substances tools must operate seamlessly with CAD, PLM, ERP and other relevant business and engineering systems.

MI:Materials Gateway delivers this integration, so that you can:

  • Ensure GRANTA MI tools can access all relevant data (for example, Bill of Materials data), wherever it is stored in the enterprise
  • Allow GRANTA MI tools to be accessed and applied from within third party applications—for example, PLM or CAD software, so that the fit to the user's workflow is optimized
  • NEW in GRANTA MI Version 5—restricted substance reporting within Pro/ENGINEER
  • Enable third-party or in-house tools to access data stored in your GRANTA MI materials information management system, should you choose to address some aspect of the restricted substances challenge using those tools
