The partnership

Granta Design has been working in partnership with ASM International as its preferred software supplier since late 2000 to provide the definitive electronic information system for engineering materials and processes.

The result of bringing together Granta’s software for materials selection and classification and ASM's vast compilation of materials information is a new generation of electronic products based around the Internet.

The principal thrust of this partnership has been in developing the online products above but Granta and ASM have also developed CD-based products. The ASM Online products are powered by Granta.

Together, Granta Software and the ASM Online product range form an ideal package for project and research work in both academic and commercial organisations.
