Regular web-based CES Selector training sessions

All CES Selector users are invited to participate in regular, no-cost online training sessions. Held on alternate months, the hour-long sessions include presentations and practical demonstrations, followed by questions and answers with Granta experts.

One-time registration (subject to approval) ensures you receive automated joining instructions from the email address in advance of each session. Add this address to your 'safe senders' or 'white-list' to ensure that you always receive your user ID and password in your inbox. I invite your colleagues to register—they will also need their individual registration ID to be able to join the session.

Upcoming CES Selector training sessions

Wednesday, January 9, 2019:
'Use of the Synthesizer Tool for lightweight design'

The 'Hybrid Models' in the CES Selector Synthesizer Tool can be used to quickly estimate the performance of hybrid materials and structures, such as composites, foams, honeycombs, and sandwich panels, and compare them to standard 'monolithic' materials.

This training session will:

  • Discuss the importance of studying hybrid materials
  • Demonstrate how the data and tools in CES Selector can be combined to optimize the configuration and performance of hybrid materials and structures to meet lightweighting objectives.

Held on alternate months, at:
  • 3pm UK time (London, Dublin)
  • 4pm CET (Paris, Berlin, Rome, etc.)
  • 10am Eastern US (New York)
  • 7am Pacific US (San Francisco)

If you are a user of CES Selector, and have not already signed up for this series, please register above to receive your individual ID and password in advance of each session.
