 Privacy for users of Granta software

Granta Design is committed to providing our users with the high level of performance, efficiency, and convenience that they have come to expect from our software products and services. In order to continually improve and better understand use patterns, and to help us provide you the best experiences with our products, Granta Design may collect certain data from our software in respect of activities and use practices. Our users’ privacy is important to Granta Design. We protect your privacy by not collecting any personally identifiable information. We might collect basic non-identifiable data about how Granta Design’s software is being used and how it performs, however this information cannot be used to identify the individual user or details of projects for which the software is being used. IP addresses are not linked to any personally identifiable information by us. Granta Design collects and analyzes this information for purposes of product improvement and to enable us to provide better technical support and training. The analysis will also enable us to identify common customer problems and offer suitable solutions accordingly. Any information collected regarding the use of Granta Design’s software stays confidential and is not shared with any third party.

Website information forms

Information Request Forms

These forms require visitors to supply contact information, which we will use to either contact the visitor, or to send the visitor information on our products and services. The visitor has the option when completing these forms of giving their e-mail address. If supplied, this will be used to e-mail product development and service news on an infrequent basis (no more than one a month). Each e-mailing will offer the option to opt out of further mailings.

The information provided by visitors will only be used for marketing and related activities in connection with the sale and support of Granta Design products and services. The information will be seen by those employees who need to see it, but we will not pass this information to any third parties unless (for example, in the case of an event being co-hosted with a partner organization) the form specifically requests permission to share contact details with a partner and the and the person completing the form confirms this option.
