Granta attended the 2010 PTC/User World Event to demonstrate the integration of our GRANTA MI system with Pro/ENGINEER.

Granta is a PTC partner. The companies have collaborated on the development of GRANTA MI:Materials Gateway for Pro/ENGINEER (pictured below). This tool operates within the Pro/ENGINEER environment, allowing users to connect to their corporation's GRANTA MI materials database to access and use materials property data. This ensures the use of approved, controlled, and up-to-date materials information in the engineering process. The MI:Gateway interface allows users to search for and view materials data, to assign materials to parts within Pro/ENGINEER and to produce a selection of reports based on the materials content of the product being designed.

MI:Materials Gateway means that this valuable, controlled resource can be made available to all of your engineers within Pro/ENGINEER, taking advantage of GRANTA MI data management features such as access control
Granta's comprehensive library of materials property reference data for metals, plastics, and composite materials. These data modules can be loaded into your corporate GRANTA MI installation and accessed, via MI:Materials Gateway, from your Pro/ENGINEER software:
GRANTA MI:Materials Gateway doesn't just provide access to materials data within third party software, it enables the creation of tools within that software that can combine and apply data from both systems.
