Granta will attend the Abaqus Users' Conference in Newport, RI, to speak on the topic of materials information management and to demonstrate the integration of our GRANTA MI system with the Abaqus/CAE software. This integration makes it easy for Abaqus users to get accurate, up-to-date, approved materials data for use in their Abaqus simulations.

Granta and SIMULIA

In March 2008, Granta announced the Granta Abaqus Plug-in (below), which allows users of the Abaqus/CAE software (from the SIMULIA brand of Dassault Systèmes) to search, browse, and apply materials data from their corporate database or reference data sources without ever leaving their Abaqus/CAE environment.

Granta has worked closely with SIMULIA to develop this capability. We will be attending the Abaqus Users' Conference to demonstrate it, and to discuss the wider requirements of Abaqus/CAE users for quality materials data and materials information management. Granta will speak in the conference program, covering our experience of working with some of the world's leading engineering enterprises to itemize and meet their detailed needs for materials information management.
