At Granta, we are the materials information technology experts. Our unique strength is in combining knowledge of materials, their properties, and their use in engineering, with the ability to design and make great software products and information resources.

Making great software requires excellent capabilities in software engineering. We have an in-house software development team that works alongside our materials science content team to develop database products and applications that access, analyze, visualize, share, and use the data that they manage.

Among the technologies that we apply are C#, client-server .NET applications, Microsoft .NET, and relational databases and SQL.
