Regional Sales Manager
(Germany / Central Europe)

Region: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, other Central European countries.

Location: Preference for Germany, although we would consider locations with good airport links to key cities in the region.

Languages: You must be fluent in both German & English.

A Cambridge University spin-off, we are the leader in the growing materials information technology market, working with organisations such as NASA, Rolls Royce, GE, and Honeywell.  We help companies use scientific and engineering data about materials in product development, design, manufacturing and increasingly in making strategic business decisions.

We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to engage with companies at all levels; using a consultative approach to match Granta solutions to customer needs and securing profitable sales as well as account development to ensure customer satisfaction and growth in use.  International travel will be a requirement of this role. Candidate Requirements:

  • Ideally a graduate in Mechanical Engineering or similar, with consultancy or sales experience and a problem-solving, “solution selling” approach
  • Familiar with engineering environments and a good understanding of the entire design to manufacturing process
  • Articulate and persuasive with middle and senior management – able to relate a technical need and solution to a clear business justification
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English
  • Experience of selling or working in Germany and Central/Eastern Europe will be an advantage
