CES EduPack 2006 is here!
Another best-ever for the renowned toolkit for
materials and process education
CES EduPack customers with current licenses should
now have received their copies of the latest version — EduPack
2006. Install it to check out some great new features! Or,
if you have an out-of-date license or haven't yet purchased CES
EduPack, here's some of the new reasons to contact

of an up-to-date copy:
- New scientific content provides excellent support for introductory
materials courses.

Chicago and Berlin courses with Professor Mike Ashby
These courses, entitled New Approaches in
Materials and Manufacturing Education, offer the perfect opportunity to learn more about EduPack
from the main architect of the product, Professor Mike Ashby.
One-day courses have already been held this year in Waco, TX,
USA and Cambridge, UK. It is not too late to register for one of
the remaining courses:
June 18 - Chicago, IL, USA (during the ASEE Annual Conference)
July 3 - Berlin, Germany
You will discover how EduPack can assist your class teaching,
help with student projects, and provide a valuable research resource.
The course includes:
- ideas on enhancing materials and manufacturing education
- an introduction to EduPack, with hands-on sessions
- a general discussion on materials education

Chicago - meet the Granta Team.
If you are attending the upcoming ASEE
Conference in Chicago, IL, June 19th -21st,
don't forget to stop at our exhibition stand (322). Granta’s
Margo Brown and Patrick Coulter will be there to explain how
CES EduPack can work for you in a variety of different courses.
You can visit the Granta booth at any time during exhibition
hours or you can book an appointment in advance by emailing

EduPack web seminar: the EduPack Editons
This month’s EduPack webseminar will focus on the EduPack
Editions. The seminar will introduce the different editions including:
Aerospace, Design, Eco, and Architecture.
