Advanced databases and tools for Capstone Design courses

Are you teaching courses that include advanced design or engineering projects? In this webinar, we’ll introduce materials data and tools that support these projects, encouraging and enabling students to critically-compare material and processing options.

About the presenters

Hannah Melia Joel Galos joins Granta Design as a Development Manager for North America having completed a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cambridge. Joel has a broad technical background and holds a MSc in Composite Materials from Imperial College London, as well as Bachelor Degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mathematics from the University of New South Wales. His research has been published in numerous academic journals and he is involved in teaching undergraduate materials laboratory classes at Cambridge. He spent one year of his undergraduate study as an exchange student at Purdue University and he worked briefly as an Aeronautical Design Engineer in Sydney, Australia.
Hannah Melia Hannah Melia is the Product Manager responsible for the development of CES EduPack and associated teaching resources. She has a degree in Materials Science and Metallurgy and a Post Graduate Certificate in Design, Manufacturing and Management from the University of Cambridge. She has worked in the United States and Germany on medical device design and technology transfer. Over the last 9 years she has interacted with academics that use CES EduPack around the world.
