2012 Materials Education Symposia
There are now just over two months to the first of two upcoming Materials Education Symposia—space is limited, so make sure to reserve your place now. The latest event news includes confirmation of Dr. Cyrus Wadia, Assistant Director of Clean Energy and Materials R&D at The White House, as a speaker at the Cambridge Symposium, and the addition of new workshop sessions at the North American event. As in previous years, each Symposium will be preceded by short courses led by Prof. Mike Ashby. Day one looks at 'Introducing Materials and the Environment', and day two addresses 'Advanced Materials Selection and Eco Design'. |
