This materials textbook, now updated, from Mike Ashby and colleagues delivers a proven, systematic approach to understanding and selecting materials and processes. Professor Mike Ashby’s immensely popular textbook, Materials Selection in Mechanical Design, was published in its fourth edition in September 2010.
