CES EduPack is the world-leading teaching resource for materials in engineering, science, processing, and design, used at over 700 universities and colleges worldwide. It supports and enhances your existing teaching with a comprehensive database of materials and process information, powerful materials software tools, and a range of supporting textbooks, lectures, projects, and exercises. With specialist editions for specific disciplines, and three levels of the database and software to suit varying needs from first-year undergraduate to postgraduate, the EduPack is a curriculum-wide resource.

This web seminar will introduce CES EduPack.

What you will see

An overview of CES EduPack and its use to support a wide range of courses at hundreds of universities worldwide. The web seminar will cover:

  • The contents of CES EduPack

  • Its use in areas including General & Mechanical Engineering, Materials, Aerospace, Architecture, Bio Engineering, Design, Eco Design and Sustainability, Polymers, and Nuclear Engineering

  • An overview of the CES EduPack information resources, including extensive materials property data and teaching materials

  • Demonstrations of some key software capabilities - including making materials property charts, materials selection, and the Eco Audit Tool

  • A brief summary of the latest enhancements in CES EduPack 2010

Professors, Lecturers, and Program Directors of university and college courses related to materials and manufacturing. The event will be suitable both for existing users wishing to see the latest enhancements, and educators assessing CES EduPack for use in their course. This web seminar is not appropriate for students.
